NY comic con and such

Robot roll call:
The first is some fan art/thank you I gave to Ryusuke Hamamoto who I met at the convention. Super nice guy and artist as well super brave for going solo to an American convention. I don't know that I would be brave enough to go to a Japanese con all by myself....

The next one is a drawing of the 3rd dog of the Florido house. Her name is Scout and she loves playing ball and finding dead things in the dark recesses of the yard to roll in (especially when she is freshly bathed.)

Third up is some Mum drawings. I haven't drawn her in so long and it occurs to me that she's the only character I've done that I would ever want to bring back to a story be it new or old.

The final picture is pretty much a photograph of me. I'm serious. Really, for real!!

puppy party

This past week my parents had to go to a wedding so I ended up staying at their house to dog sit. Being home alone at the place of my middle/high school years not only inspired me to stand with the fridge open, but to allow the dogs on every possible surface and eat ice cream for breakfast. I also took the liberty to sit pajama clad in the sun and draw the dogs (2 out of 3) all morning and not clean my closet AT ALL! It was fabulous and felt so much better than doing it at my apartment. Kinda like how eating someone else's lunch taste better than the one you packed for yourself.
Cheers to the little things that make all the difference.

Chester, me too. Hang in there buddy.

Obviously very important notes for serious art business.
The top one is a panel of Chester (who is currently uh... trying his best? ) of 'The Third Horsemen.'

two very good things (it's no joke)

Might as well get this in while it's still April 1.
Firstly, I make pancakes like a god. Secondly, Elvis IS a god. That's his nose poking out in the picture my mom calls 'baby seal waiting to be clubbed.'
