TCAF

I'll be tabling this year for the first time at TCAF May 8th and 9th. So if you're in or around the Toronto area, please stop by!

Also, in what may have been an inevitable turn of events (though I'll insist I didn't see it coming...) I have a four page comic in the Oyaji love anthology, Expired Seafood. If you're not sure what Oyaji love is, chances are you might not want in on this. However, this 18+ beauty weighs in with a hefty 114 perfect bound pages, has 8 original stories, and is wrapped in a lovingly screen printed cover! If ever there was a reason to try out BL, this is it.

If you can't make it to TCAF, pre-orders are happening now.

flower action satisfaction

My out door gardening is pretty hit or miss but I'm starting to get the hand of indoor plant care. Behold, my radiator top forest!

The chamomile I planted...i-it's GROWING!

You're right if you are noticing this one isn't a plant. I have a small window box starting in my kitchen but the light was lame for photographing. However, the stained glass window above it did look nice. So there you have it.

The Daily News

Lemme get this straight- the first year I don't table at MoCCA in like five years and I make the Daily News? Hmm...

Here's the whole list which includes the lovely talents of Margo Dabaie, Megan Baehr and the Static Fish crew. Congratulations!

I'm not sure why the color version is getting a bit washed out here... and I definitely can't explain why that 'a' is backwards. Yipes. Times are tough over here at Ranch Hilary.
AT LEAST THERE'S GUNDAM UNICORN.

*
I had the pleasure of helping out designer Rachel Antonoff with a prop for her 2010 fall collection show at fashion week. The show, Mystery at Lafayette House, pulled inspiration from Nancy Drew and other mystery stories. The bloodhound cut out I made was on the case to sniff out clues and be really cumbersome on the rush hour train that I had to transport it on.

Ahh... I can see day passing as the sun reflects off of the floorboards!
